Who is welcome?

Both males and females preferably between the ages of 13 and 55.  However, anyone who can "breathe" is capable of doing yoga.

Do I need to consult a doctor prior to commencing with yoga?

If you have any pre-existing injuries resulting from sport (etc.), have chronic ailments or have medical conditions/ diseases, please note that you are advised to seek a medical practitioner's advice before commencing with the practice of yoga.

What does Yoga with Lari entail (Transformational Yoga)?

An hour session, consisting of an invocation, warm up exercises, sun salutations, simple/basic yogic postures (with progress to more advanced ones), breathing techniques and yoga nidra (meditation).

What do I need to bring along to a yoga class (equipment)?

A yoga mat (MUST HAVE), a towel, water or any substance to keep yourself hydrated, a warm jacket, jersey or throw for yoga nidra (as your body temperature will drop resulting in you feeling cold), a yoga block (optional), a yoga strap (optional).

Can I wear socks during the yoga class?

You are encouraged to go bare feet; wearing socks will result in you slipping or being unable to grip your mat properly.
